Good morning!

Radar just wanted to say a quick good morning and to thank everyone for following his crazy day yesterday. This morning we're trying to figure out this breakfast thing, but Radar keeps pointing out that my boob is bigger than his head and that I, mommy, have no idea what I'm doing. We're looking forward to all sorts of guests today and once we're all bathed, dressed and dapper, we'll try to get some better pictures to post.

More later.

Love,

Titi & Radar

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh how amazingly plump and spectacular he is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He looks like he is 5 months old to me on the pictures! I honestly think that the picture of you kissing him (for the first time I'm guessing) could win an award... but I know I'm biased.. and it looks like you won the award! I love the c-section picture! Now you experienced all.. hard labor without and with drugs, and a c-section.
With all the love in my heart.. titi Andrea

Hi Titi,
I don't know if you'll remember me or not but I am Sandi Baker's daughter Lori and we used to play together at Sandy Point when we were kids. ;)

My mom has been so excited for you and has been sharing updates with me as you progressed through your pregnancy. I remember summers at Sandy Point and all of you so fondly and it's been wonderful to get a glimpse into your life.

Congratulations on the birth of little Rafael! Enjoy these precious first weeks as you and your son get to know one another - they go by way too quickly but will be filled with moments you will treasure a lifetime.

Be patient with the breastfeeding. It can take time to learn, but the benefits are so worth it and the first time you're nursing and he puts his little hand up to caress your face, you'll be glad you hung in there. ;) Don't be shy about asking the hospital to send in a lactation consultant if you need one - the nurses can be sweet and helpful but sometimes you need more experienced advice. I have a wealth of wisdom at my fingertips from my midwifery friends and many years of experience to draw on myself (my mother was just saying that my son will be 21 in a few weeks and your mom has her first grandchild!) so please don't hesitate to ask.

I am so happy for you and my mom was practically in tears when she just called me - congratulations!!!

Hugs, Lori McDunnah Gauvin

Welcome to the World Precious Radar!!

Beautiful photos and Radar looks healthy and happy already!.

Us experienced Moms know what you are going thru! Let others do everything for you. You will need to recover-heal after the surgery, cuz Radar is a hungry and lovable baby!

Wishing you the best of everything!

Aaawww Little Rafaelito is adorable! I prefer the photo of him well rested. I sounds like the two of you had a ridiculously long difficult day yesterday, so try to take it easy. I'm so tearfully happy for you. Love you both... Marco

Christena -

I am in tears right now! I know exactly what you are thinking in the pic of you and Radar when you get to kiss him. Yes, I agree this pic should be submitted for an award! You will most definitely win!

Radar, welcome to the world little man. Your arrival is bringing joy to many, myself included. Your birth is hope for others! I can't wait to meet you in person! Hopefully someday soon.

Best wishes and lots of love,
Melissa

Scratch the news of Jolie- Pitt..
Sorry to Clay Nation.
Never has a baby's birth
Created such sensation!!

The New York Times would headline..
"Heres Radar!" if the knew..
And Time would change its Man Of Year..
But they haven't got a clue!

When Obama heard, he said if your timing had been better ...
He would have issued a proclamation...
To the nations best new Wetter!

Bush,however, when told the News..
I think it came from Bar...
Said he would not declare a Holiday,
For a washed up sitcom star.

So the only people here to cheer Are those who've loved you long..
And though the words not spread world wide..
We make up quite a throng..

Happy Birthday Radar!!!

Hi Christena,
Congratulations!!! I just visited the "Little Prince" and he's gorgeous... Have fun and enjoy motherhood...

You need to change the name of this blog from 'waiting' to 'BABY DONE REACH'.

I'm coming to visit tonight... Monster Cock* has a soar throat so he has graciously decided to stay away from the newborn infant child.

*I know you haven't been on the hash for a while: Monster Cock is 'the artist formerly known as JP'.

BTW, don't bring your baby boy on the hash lest he turns out like POLE when he grows up.
