A Radar hot dog riddle

It's been a month since Radar's last doctor's visit. A month since he was measured and plotted on the growth chart as exactly average in weight and height. And in just a week and a day, Radar will be 8 months old. So the riddle is...

How can this boy...

this perfectly average 8 month old bathroom counter ornament...

have outgrown nearly all his age appropriate clothes and be fitting into most of his 12 month and even 12 - 18 months clothes?

My guess is that it has something to do with a seriously above average torso and seriously below average legs... see the resemblance?

My poor little dachshund!

Lots of love,
Titi and Radar

He's inhereted Avo's body type. At 5'7" Avo was taller than most six footers when in a seated position. Radar is definitively a Pazos. By the way, back in Cuba we had a dashound (or however you spell it) His name was Ricky (short for Ricardo Corazon de Meon) Sorry about the lame spanish pun ;)

Tia Sara is claiming too much Pazos credit. I have never been able to buy a pantsuit, in that I wear a 12 petit pant, and a regular 12 to 14 top. Also, we must clue in the non Spanish readers to Ricardo Heart of Piss. I'm going for dachshund, but I won't spell check it.

Abuela,
Ricardo Corazon de Leon is the spanish name for Richard the Lionhearted. The dog was pisshearted instead.

I had also thought of beloved pisser as a kinder translation for the pup. The majority of the dogs willed to me by Radar's Mom would be proper tocayos for old Ricardo.

Ricardo Corazon de Leon was a bloodthirsty butcher. Ricardo Matamoros would have been a more approriate name for him. But then Ricky would have to have been Ricardo Meamuebles. ;-)
