A simple life lesson. by Radar

I'm not really keeping track anymore, but I believe yesterday was the 5th or 6th time that Radar visited the aquarium at Atlantis. His previous visit was nearly 2 months ago (I think) and the difference between that visit and this one is the whole wide world! Radar was screaming with delight at the fish and squirming like mad to get at the glass. I finally had to just put him down on the floor and let him have at it!

And if you're in the dark about how to communicate with fish, just ask Radar... it seems that although he hasn't quite gotten the hang of this human speak stuff, he has mastered the art of fish talk.

As for the Radar's life lesson for today... it's a pretty common one put into action.

When you're down...

find a way...

to pick yourself up.

It's worth the effort!

Lots of love,
Titi and Radar

PS - A little afternoon ditty which serves as further proof that I LOVE my son and am happy to leave dignity home when it comes to his well-being...

Today I brought my pump to work so that I could express the mama milk that has kept him so healthy all these months. I do it every day because I LOVE my son! The twist is that today I forgot the electrical cord...

My options?

1) Don't pump... not an option because I LOVE my son and he needs the milk.
2) Go home... not tempting because it's already 2pm and driving back and forth right now would be a big headache. Plus it would keep me at work later. I would do it if I had to because I LOVE my son, but maybe there's another way.
3) When you're down, find a way to pick yourself back up!!! Great advice Radar!!! So behind my closed office door, I just spend 20 minutes sucking (to create the suction the machine usually would) and squeezing (like a cow on a farm).

And presto... one bottle of magic milk!!!

Man do I LOVE my son or what?!?

You obviously learned that pumping technique from all the airline safety tutorials where the stewardesses showed you what to do if the automatic inflation doesn't work.

A comment on the sexist comment of the Science Pundit: stewardesses?? These are professional air cabin passenger comfort enhancement specialists-get up to date!
