Gate Schmate

The bathroom in my bedroom doesn't have a door.

It has a curtain.

Radar likes bathrooms.

He likes toilets and tubs and tub faucets and toilet paper and garbage bins and shampoo bottles and scales.

It's just easier to keep Radar out of the bathroom.

But without a door, what is one to do?

Of course!

A baby gate... so simple.

That way Radar can see in...

...but he can't get in.

And the toilet and paper and tub and faucet and shampoo and garbage and scale are all safe.

I can even pee without Radar trying to find a way into the toilet.

A gate is a perfect solution.

Or rather, a gate WOULD be a perfect solution...

...for some other 14 month old.

But not for my monkey!

"Gate-schmate mommy!! "

Lots of love,
Titi and Radar

Geez! He is a little monkey! Does he do that to the other gates? You'd think they would make them less climbable.. OR maybe they are but monkey Radar can still climb them. Hmmm, well, can you get a door?

He's definitively a climber! Marcela was a climber. She would climb up anything, but especially loved bookcases. And she could climb out of her crib by the time she was 11 months old. Radar could probably climb out of his crib .... if he used a crib.

Tia - How much wood would a woodchuck chuck... Yes, Radar would certainly climb out of his crib (if he used one!) Radar may not have been an early walker, but he was an early climber. He climbed long before he walked.

Can't wait to see you guys over Easter! Maybe we can hammer some pegs into the walls and let all the kids climb the walls - it would make for some cute pictures anyway.
