A Philadelphia Love Story

I didn't get Tia Sara's advice before we left to tote along an umbrella to fend off the bad weather... doesn't much matter since I don't own an umbrella... plus, at least in Philly, the weather gods were smiling down on us! We had perfect - and I mean perfect - warm, sunny, breezy weather! So our day in Philadelphia was just as originally planned.

We walked to the fire station nearby Tia Lali's...

...where Radar drove the fire truck.

Then to Center City...

... where the Ben Franklin Philly Phanatic invited us...

...to the awesome Franklin Institute...

... which is one of mommy's old stomping grounds...

...with so much cool stuff, including airplanes...

... and even the REAL Ben Franklin!

... and a freakin' planetarium to run around!!!

And we capped the day, before heading off to the airport, with an awesome picnic by the Philadelphia Waterworks next to the Art Museum! It was a perfect day in every way. But when you boil it down to the basics... it wasn't about the activities or the perfect weather...

Thursday was really a Philadelphia love story about an aunt and a nephew!

(and Tia Caro too who went to great lengths to secure us a car seat for Radar!)

So, I'll tell you more about our "perfect" trip over to Spain tomorrow - suffice to say that we're here in Madrid safely, at the hotel, exhausted and it seems that the weather gods are out to make sure that they don't spoil us too much!

More tomorrow from Barcelona!

Lots of love,
Titi and Radar
